Jezebel Johnson is a strong female character who even the author couldn't push into a sex scene until after she was married. My favorite unexpected scene is where her famous actor husband (Hollis) gets called Mr. Johnson by one of her fans.If I had known this was going to be a series, I would have split this book in two when the Icarus device is introduced. I had no idea at the time, however, that it would spend months on the Amazon top High Tech list. I just sent book three to the proof readers and have the outline for four.
